What You Can Expect
This role is responsible for executing and coordinating critical intercompany accounting activities across the AMER region, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and intercompany balance resolution. The position combines operational execution with analytical problem-solving, requiring ownership of complex reconciliations, collaboration with global stakeholders, and continuous identification of process improvement and automation opportunities. The individual will work closely with Country Controllers, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other GBS teams to ensure the integrity of intercompany financial information and compliance with company policies.
How You'll Create Impact
- Execute Intercompany month-end close activities for entities within scope, ensuring timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Perform intercompany account reconciliations across multiple ERPs (SAP, JD Edwards and others), identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Review, analyze and resolve Out-of-Balance (OOB) items, netting differences, mismatches and other intercompany exceptions.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, service recharges and manual accounting adjustments as required.
- Execute SAP clearing activities and validate open items to ensure accurate account balances.
- Perform detailed transaction-level analysis to identify root causes before escalating issues to business partners or management.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (Controllers, Treasury, Tax, Procurement and other Finance teams) to resolve accounting issues and support month-end close.
- Monitor automated interfaces, IDocs and other intercompany system flows, investigating and resolving processing exceptions.
- Execute SOX controls, maintain supporting documentation, and provide support for internal and external audits.
- Maintain process documentation (SOPs, Desktop Procedures and training materials) and contribute to process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives.
- Support knowledge sharing, cross-training and operational backup within the team.
Perform other operational or project-related activities assigned by management.

Your Background
- Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of 5- years of experience required in finance or accounting.
