Job Summary
As Head of Print and B2B Content, you will lead Domain's team of print specialists to deliver our industry leading magazines and build alignment with our residential customers, ensuring they’re represented throughout our content ecosystem. You will be a well-seasoned, strategic and commercially minded content expert who is adept at motivating teams to deliver exceptional experiences for Domain’s property loving audience. As head of Domain’s B2B and print content offerings, you will help align these two disciplines, ensuring we create compelling content for consumers across our print products while providing meaningful and impactful exposure for our residential customers across the residential and developer sectors. You will also enable B2B content creation for our B2B content segment, aligning our product goals with the needs of our customer base. Your passion, energy and ability to influence those around you will ensure Domain’s content is best-in-class, delivering top-tier experiences for our property-loving audience and our valuable customers.
Responsibilities
Ensure the longevity of our print products through the delivery of a premium content experience across our suite of titles that engages and grows our exclusive print audience
Drive the team to reinvigorate the print content mix for consumers while keeping our agent customers needs top of mind with a focus on state-based offerings
Nurture relationships with key agent customers through thought leadership, content sharing and commercially oriented initiatives
Lead the delivery of our B2B content, from strategy to execution, ensuring alignment with product and marketing goals
Collaborate with Domain's Sales leadership to ensure our content ecosystem provides significant value to key clients. Maintain ongoing feedback loops and reporting mechanisms to clearly showcase the impact and value generated.
Collaborate with the News and Production teams to create multi-format content series which deliver brand engagement, audience acquisition and revenue goals
Build and nurture relationships with Nine stakeholders to guarantee mutual success in fulfilling our print agreement.
Plan and lead collaborative working sessions which lead to delivery of content roadmaps, ensuring these are communicated cross-functionally to drive alignment and impact
Inspire the wider Group Content team with an injection of strategic, creative thinking, big ideas and original content initiatives
Responsible for OKR tracking, reporting, and budget management
About You
Strong balance between creative and analytical skills, with experience delivering strong commercial outcomes through content
Exceptional understanding of print and customer-centric content offerings
Advanced interpersonal and influencing skills, including the ability to communicate highly complex information in clear and simple language
Team building and people-management experience with proven ability to lead decentralised teams
A performance focus, with the ability to set clear targets and adjust team approach to ensure these are met
A curious mindset driven to seek out new trends, content types and production techniques with the ability to translate these into actionable business practices
Customer-centricity with strong understanding of property audience segments
10-15+ years in content leadership roles within large media organization's
Communications / Media / Production degree preferred
Extensive knowledge of: Print production, Editorial production, SE, Commercial content Reporting & Analytics
Strong understanding of CMS platforms (Wordpress and Brightcove preferred)
