Position OverviewWe are seeking a mid-senior level Embedded Firmware Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in networking and semiconductor domains, ideally with an optical background. The successful candidate will have hands-on development and design experience on 32-bit microcontrollers, preferably with ARM-based architectures, and will contribute to the creation and delivery of advanced embedded solutions. ResponsibilitiesIndependently drive firmware design, development, and feature delivery for high-performance networking and optical semiconductor productsDevelop and maintain device drivers, real-time operating systems (RTOS) integration, and communication protocol implementationsDesign, code, test, and debug embedded firmware primarily in C for ARM-based controllersCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, DSP, and software engineersManage, configure, and optimize build environments and makefilesContribute to design reviews, feature definition, and product delivery schedules Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field10-12 years of experience developing embedded firmware on 32-bit microcontrollers, preferably ARM architectureStrong knowledge of C programming, RTOS, device driver development, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet)Experience in networking and semiconductor industries, ideally with exposure to optical technologiesSolid understanding of DSP concepts and implementationsGood knowledge of build environments and makefile managementDemonstrated ability to independently manage tasks, drive designs, and deliver featuresStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Why Join Lumilens?Work at the forefront of AI, networking, and optical semiconductor technologyCollaborative and innovative environmentOpportunities for career growthCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Lumilens is an equal opportunity employer.
