Software Development Manager, ML Platform , AI Studios, AI Studios
We are hiring a founding Software Development Manager to build and lead the CreativeFlux team within AI Studios Engineering. The team owns the training and inference fabric that backs every model AI Studios trains and serves. Model teams use CreativeFlux to launch distributed training jobs, serve production inference, and manage the lifecycle of their workloads through a single control plane.
The work spans the training plane, the inference plane, and the multi-tenant primitives that hold them together. The team owns architecture decisions for these layers and partners with the model teams who consume them. As more model teams onboard, the team will define how the platform evolves to meet new workload patterns. The reliability of the platform determines how fast every model team in AI Studios can ship.
Key job responsibilities
-Hire and develop the ML platform engineering team. Own the hiring bar, level mix, and performance and growth practice for the team;
-Drive the technical roadmap for the team's charter;
-Partner with Product, Creative, Science and other Nara teams on prioritization and delivery of the features.
-Set the engineering bar through design reviews, code review practice, and team mechanisms. Coach engineers and influence technical decisions across AI Studios Engineering

About the team
CreativeFlux is the multi-tenant ML platform that powers training and inference for diffusion models.
Basic qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
