For more information visit BBOTx.com    Who You Are This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Toxicologist with a strong background in drug development. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and growing environment to join our team as an Associate Director-Director. As a key member of the Toxicology Department, you will:  Responsibilities Lead and own all in vitro and in vivo non-clinical toxicology activities (non-GLP & GLP) for multiple programs. Design and communicate customized toxicology strategies for each program. Currently, all programs involve small molecules for oncology indications  Serve as the toxicology representative: attend program meetings, collaborate with cross-functional team leads (e.g., DMPK and pharmacology), and guide project team leaders regarding toxicology and safety plans and timelines  Plan, design, and oversee the execution of all outsourced CRO collaborations for toxicology and safety studies  Manage, edit, and finalize collaborators’ (CRO) study reports in a timely manner  Analyze, interpret, present, and communicate all preclinical toxicology and safety study findings  Make key recommendations to project teams for mitigation strategies and next steps  Author high-quality regulatory documents to support filings such as IND, CTA, NDA, and IB  Be an integral part of BBOT’s culture: Hope through rigorous science  Requirements  Education and Qualifications A highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and committed individual with excellent communication and organizational skills  Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related field; DABT preferred but not required  5+ years of professional experience in toxicology research or drug development in an industry setting; small molecule experience required. Experience working with CROs in the US, Canada, EU, and Asia Professional level proficiency speaking English is required. Actual compensation will vary, and it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.  Base compensation is part of a robust total rewards offering at BBOT.
