As a Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle patrols, help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, offices, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
