Job Description:
TD Securities Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage delivers strategic advisory, capital markets, treasury, credit, risk management, and related solutions to corporate and institutional clients. The Coverage team is the primary client interface, coordinating across product groups to deliver integrated, client-first solutions.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage, this role supports strategy and execution across client coverage, product partners, and senior leadership. The role focuses on deepening client relationships, driving revenue opportunities, and improving decision-making in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
Job Requirements:
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Head of Coverage and senior leadership to define and execute strategic priorities across the platform.
- Support client coverage by tracking key relationships, monitoring pipelines, and coordinating Capital Markets, M&A, Lending, and other product groups.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client analytics to inform coverage strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead or support initiatives such as client segmentation, coverage model enhancements, and cross-platform collaboration.
- Prepare executive materials, including client briefs, strategic presentations, performance updates, agendas, and follow-up items.
- Track and report on key initiatives, client activity, and revenue opportunities to provide leadership with clear visibility into progress and outcomes.
- Build relationships across Coverage, M&A, Credit and Risk Management, Capital Markets, and Global Markets to enhance collaboration and client delivery.
- Apply structured problem-solving and judgment to support decisions on complex client and business issues.
Qualifications:
- 6–10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, strategy, or a related field.
- Understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking products, client coverage models, and revenue drivers.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial instincts, sounds judgment, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority across diverse teams.
