Director - Amex Offers Digital Media Data Analytics

New York, NYFull-timePosted Jul 27, 2026

Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants and brands with tens of millions of American Express Card Members globally. The platform enables advertisers to reach high-spending customers through purchase-based targeting, delivering closed-loop measurement, deterministic attribution, and clear media ROI.

We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Director of Amex Offers & Digital Media Analytics to lead the commercial analytics vision for our digital media and card-linked offers (CLO) business. This role is focused on solving complex business problems, shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and owning the analytics roadmap that drives revenue growth, advertiser value, and platform adoption.

You will operate as a senior thought partner to Sales, Product, and Strategy leadership—using data and advanced analytics to influence how we price, sell, optimize, and scale our advertising solutions, including media measurement frameworks, channel performance optimization, and advertiser ROI modeling.

In addition, this role will lead the AI and advanced analytics agenda for the broader Amex Offers analytics organization—defining the vision, identifying high-impact use cases, and driving the integration of AI/ML into core commercial workflows. This includes advancing capabilities across attribution, incrementality measurement, market mix modeling (MMM), targeting, forecasting, and pricing, while partnering with Data Science and Technology teams to scale adoption and embed intelligent decisioning into day-to-day business processes.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of analytics, revenue strategy, and product innovation, with a mandate to modernize how analytics is delivered and leveraged across the organization. This role will directly shape how Amex Offers drives revenue and delivers value to advertisers by combining deep commercial analytics, structured problem solving, and leadership of AI-driven transformation to influence product strategy and go-to-market execution.

  • Own and lead the commercial analytics strategy to drive revenue growth, advertiser adoption, and ROI across Amex Offers and digital media, including media measurement and attribution strategy.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional analyses by synthesizing transactional, media, and behavioral data into clear, actionable recommendations that inform channel performance and marketing effectiveness.
  • Define and drive the analytical strategy for CLO pricing, including benchmarking, dynamic pricing models, and performance-based monetization frameworks.
  • Drive advanced customer and campaign analytics, including incrementality, cohort performance, funnel dynamics, and lifecycle measurement to identify scalable growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and Go-To-Market teams to evolve value-based pricing, proposal modeling, and advertiser measurement narratives (e.g., ROI, lift, attribution) that directly influence deal outcomes.
  • Lead the AI and advanced analytics agenda for the organization by identifying and scaling high-impact AI/ML use cases across measurement (MMM, attribution), targeting, forecasting, and pricing.
  • Partner with Data Science, Product, and Technology teams to operationalize and embed AI-driven analytics into core commercial workflows and decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of automation and self-service analytics to accelerate insight delivery and scale impact across stakeholders.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists, elevating both technical expertise and strategic, business-facing capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, analytical rigor, and proactive, hypothesis-driven problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or consulting, with strong exposure to commercial or revenue-focused environments.
  • Proven track record of influencing revenue outcomes and go-to-market strategy through analytics.
  • Deep expertise in digital media, marketing measurement (e.g., attribution, incrementality, MMM), or transaction-based analytics.
  • Strong technical skills (SQL, Python) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and translate insights into business impact.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing analytics teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ad tech, card-linked offers, payments, or loyalty ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategy, monetization models, and sales analytics.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to commercial or marketing use cases.
  • Strong foundation in experimentation, causal inference, and advanced analytics techniques.
