Senior Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer you will support design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex manufacturing projects. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Leads or supports engineering programs, projects, or tasks whose manufacturing requires engineering oversight. Ensures the quality of the program, project, or task deliverables meet or exceed manufacturing and materials standards or metrics and assesses such deliverables to ensure that final deliverables will meet the warfighting purpose for which they are intended. Plans and performs materials and manufacturing research, design development, and other engineering assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and customer specifications. Assists Government with technical/engineering portions of major manufacturing and production project(s) or program(s) Coordinates across DoW materials engineering communities to support delivery milestones. Tracks and advises design trades and associated cost, schedule, and technical impacts to requirements. Coordinates with materials engineering and manufacturing communities to integrate materials supportability requirements into development efforts. Required : 20+ years of relevant DoW program experience Minimum 2 years experience in SAP and/or SCI environment with at least 1 yr within the last 5 yrs Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action Minimum Educational Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree, in a related field Master's Degree in a related field, preferred.  Clearance Requirements : Active TS/SCI /SAP Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required. The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $220,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
