Lead Product Manager - Business Licenses

The Product Manager acts as the product manager for the Wolters Kluwer CLC Business License Solutions product, collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex functional needs into scalable, high-quality product solutions that meet customer and business expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Manager owns product capabilities from ideation through delivery, ensuring customer needs, business outcomes, and technical execution remain aligned. This role partners closely with customers, engineering, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact solutions that drive measurable value.
Responsibilities
Own products end-to-end: Lead the lifecycle of product capabilities from customer discovery and ideation through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Champion the customer: Represent the voice of the customer by incorporating customer feedback, market insights, usage data, and business needs into product decisions and prioritization.
Leverage AI to accelerate outcomes: Utilize AI and automation to improve discovery, requirements definition, decision-making, product capabilities, and delivery efficiency.
Drive product strategy and execution: Own and prioritize product backlogs, balancing customer value, strategic objectives, delivery commitments, and business impact.
Partner on requirements and design: Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX, and stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Lead agile delivery: Work closely with engineering teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution to deliver high-quality, predictable outcomes.
Validate and launch solutions: Ensure completed work meets customer expectations, business objectives, and quality standards; support successful releases and adoption.
Measure impact: Track KPIs, customer outcomes, adoption metrics, and delivery performance to continuously improve products and inform future priorities.
Provide technical leadership: Serve as a product and domain expert in customer, partner, vendor, and integration discussions.
Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with Technology, PMO, Operations, Sales, Service, and Go-to-Market teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or software development within enterprise environments or related fields
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience
Ability to work US East Coast hours
Proven ability to operate in distributed, matrixed organizations with strong cross-functional collaboration
Experience applying AI and automation in product development to enhance requirements definition, accelerate delivery, or enable intelligent product capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, driving delivery from concept through release
Proficiency with software development and product analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, or similar)
Preferred: Experience working with service operations/workflows, customer interactions, and/or scalable platforms
TRAVEL
Ability to travel as needed (<10%)
*This is a hybrid role requiring at least eight in-office days per month at a Wolters Kluwer office located within 50 miles of your home. The successful candidate must be available to work East Coast hours.*

Compensation:
$118,300.00 - $207,400.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
