Product Operations is responsible for the development and commercialization of an offering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy and process. The Product Operations team works closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment in the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.

One critical area of work is the creation, extension, phase out, and reactivation of SKUs, as well as governance of related master data and material settings. The Product Operations Supervisor, SKU Operations will lead a small team of three SKU Operations Specialists responsible for executing this work across the product lifecycle.


This role will operate as a player / coach: directly supporting complex or escalated SKU Operations work while also supervising, coaching, and developing a team of specialists. The supervisor will drive consistent execution, strengthen governance, improve cycle time and first-time-right quality, and provide clear visibility to Offering Managers and cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires hands-on operational ownership, people leadership, process discipline, and the ability to influence across a matrixed global organization.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three SKU Operations Specialists responsible for end-to-end SKU lifecycle execution, including creation, extension, inactivation/phase-out, reactivation, and related material master data changes.
  • Serve as a player / coach by personally handling complex, high-priority, or escalated SKU Operations requests while ensuring the team delivers day-to-day execution with quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Act as the operational leader and escalation point for Offering Managers, MDM, and cross-functional action owners; clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and drive timely completion of required steps.
  • Manage team workload, priorities, SLAs, and operating cadences; monitor open requests, aging, risks, and bottlenecks to ensure committed timelines and operational targets are met.
  • Establish and reinforce standard work, governance routines, templates, documentation, and quality checks to improve first-time-right submissions and reduce rework.
  • Provide regular performance visibility through dashboards, KPI reviews, status updates, and root-cause analysis of recurring issues, trends, and process gaps.
  • Build capability across the team and Offering Management community through coaching, training, office hours, and practical guidance on SKU Operations processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify workflows, improve handoffs, strengthen data quality, and enhance stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain strong communication across time zones and functions; ensure stakeholders understand status, decisions needed, risks, and next steps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Operations, Master Data, Supply Chain/Operations, Offering/Portfolio Operations, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, or supervise a small team, including workload management, prioritization, performance feedback, and capability development.
  • Strong working knowledge of SKU lifecycle processes, ERP/master data concepts, governance workflows, and cross-functional execution dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating complex cross-functional workflows and driving closure of action items across multiple stakeholders, functions, and geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret dashboards, KPIs, service levels, aging reports, and data quality trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear executive-ready updates and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

We Value

  • Prior people leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in an operations, master data, supply chain, or portfolio management environment.
  • Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems, master data workflows, and change request mechanisms.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent, and comfort using data to manage performance and prioritize work.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience, including documenting standard work and improving operational processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and change leadership skills, with the ability to build trust across a global organization.
