How you create impact
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all on-site HR functions supporting a dynamic distribution environment. This role will partner closely with site leadership to drive employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and compliance.
Reporting to the Area HR Business Partner, this role will support employees across multiple locations.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to support operational needs. Occasional travel to Durham, NC (approx. 10%).
- Lead all site HR functions including employee relations, compliance, payroll, workforce planning support.
- Serve as a strategic partner to site leadership on organizational and people-related matters
- Maintain regular floor presence to build relationships and proactively address employee concerns
- Lead and document employee relations investigations and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.)
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, attendance, staffing levels) to inform business decisions
- Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives
- Utilize HRIS systems (UKG/Kronos) for data management, reporting, and payroll support
- Employee Relations Investigations and Counseling

What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- 3+ years in distribution center, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Strong employee relations and investigations experience
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
- Prior safety program support or management experience is a huge PLUS!
