We are looking for an Inspector to be based at VCC, Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, prepare inspection reports and provide technical support.
Job Description
- Handle complex cases, escalations and non-standard inspection scenarios, act as first-level escalation points for client and affiliate queries.
- Execute inspections upon request of IC Coordinator, verifying that all information provided for inspection execution is complete.
- Full compliance of inspection rules applicable to TFS inspection execution according to Inspection Job Order (IJO), Initial Assessment Form (IAF), Quality System procedures and/or any other applicable document/manual related to inspection execution and reporting.
- Inspection of different products as per TFS ME IC Staffs Skills Matrix (D2-TFS-03-IC-135-AE)
- Technical Support as per ISO/IEC 17020 & ISO/IEC17065 standards, as applicable. · Observance of inspectors’ manual (handout) and IJO for inspection execution.
- On time submission of inspection report to TFS IC office, according to deadlines provided by KPI´s.
- Report to Inspection Coordinator of any risky information detected by during inspection process, according to risk detection guidance provided by IC management.
- Take care of Security Material supplied by the IC coordinator; report all Security Material movement to IC Coordinator (used, damaged, and lost) for prompt registration /action.
- Careful use of tools and materials provided by the company for inspection execution.
- Report to IC Coordinator any deviation of standard procedures according to inspector’s manual, IJO, SGS Policy, SGS Ethic Code, and any other mandatory document applicable to TFS.
Qualifications
- University degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition or similar technical qualification.
- 1 year of experience in execution of inspections is preferred.
- Knowledge of specific product industry or technician/professional level is an advantage which replaces the requirement of experience in execution of inspection.
