You will design, develop, and validate the electrical systems of a humanoid robot platform including power distribution, motor control electronics, sensor interfaces, and communication networks  and ensure robust integration with embedded firmware and our ROS2-based software stack.This role will play a central part in shaping the robot’s electrical architecture, owning design decisions across schematics, PCB design, and system-level integration as the platform scales to new modules and deployments.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and review electrical schematics for actuator controllers, sensor boards, and power systemsSupport PCB bring-up, validation, and debugging of custom electronicsDefine and implement power distribution, grounding, and protection strategiesIntegrate sensors (force/torque, encoders, IMUs) at the electrical and interface levelDebug signal integrity, EMI, and communication issues (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)Support hardware bring-up of new actuator and gripper modulesEssential SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fieldStrong experience with schematic design and PCB developmentKnowledge of motor drivers, power electronics, and sensor interfacesExperience with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet/UDPHands-on debugging skills using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multimeterUnderstanding of embedded systems constraints and real-time hardware behaviorBeneficial SkillsExperience designing electronics for robotics or motion control systemsFamiliarity with servo and motor control platforms (Dynamixel, ODrive, or similar)Experience with safety, protection circuits, and EMC/EMI considerationsExposure to ROS2-based robotic systemsWhat we offerA dynamic high-tech company combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.Lots of development opportunities in the context of our continued growth.Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.Corporate Benefits Program that covers health, mobility, and learning with 100€ net per month.Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment.About usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
