As an Advisory - Deals - Financial Due Diligence - Associate, you will provide strategic advice and business diligence services to clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will analyze financial information, focusing on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Deals practice, where you will navigate complex transactions and help clients maximize value in their business deals. You will be expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Conducting financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to provide strategic advice to clients
- Analyzing financial statements and cash flows to assess quality of earnings and identify key deal issues
- Collaborating with team members to gather and interpret data from various sources for comprehensive analysis
- Applying financial forecasting and modeling techniques to support deal evaluations and recommendations
- Engaging in active listening and asking questions to clarify client needs and project requirements
- Developing commercial awareness by understanding how business operations impact financial performance
- Utilizing financial planning and review skills to contribute to client engagements and project success
- Building a personal brand by consistently delivering quality work and taking ownership of tasks
- Adapting to diverse client environments and team dynamics to effectively manage varying challenges
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Current pursuit of or a Certified Public Accountant License, or Chartered Accountant, or Foreign Certified Public Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
