We’re looking for a Financial Analyst who loves getting into the detail of food costs and operations as much as building the models that explain them. You won’t just crunch numbers - you'll help shape how Marley Spoon plans, prices, and grows every meal we send out the door, working closely with Culinary, Logistics and Sourcing to turn data into decisions. <h3>The Opportunity</h3><ul><li>Bring approved AI tools and automation into your everyday workflow, so we spend less time compiling reports and more time on the analysis that matters.</li><li>Work with cross functional teams to spot trends, gaps and opportunities by comparing performance against plan and prior periods, and turn those insights into practical recommendations that improve cost efficiency.</li><li>Design and maintain financial models, sensitivity analysis and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed and decisions moving.</li><li>Help prepare the reports and presentations shared with our Global and Australian leadership teams each month and quarter.</li><li>Weekly and monthly contribution margin reporting, digging into variable cost buckets like food, packaging, production and logistics.</li></ul><h3>What we’re looking for:</h3>You'll thrive in this role if you love getting into the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You enjoy solving problems, working cross-functionally, and turning complex data into clear, practical recommendations - all with a positive, get-it-done attitude.You’ll bring:<ul><li>A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Culinary Arts, or a related field, plus 1-4 years of relevant experience (internships count).</li><li>Strong analytical skills and confidence working in financial reporting tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Looker, Microsoft NAV or PowerBI.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions.</li><li>The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A positive, go-getter attitude and a genuine drive for continuous improvement.</li></ul>Bonus points if you have:<ul><li>Exposure to Python or SQL</li><li>Experience in culinary operations or food industry analytics, with an understanding of cost structures and performance metrics.</li></ul><h3>What’s in it for you</h3>At Marley Spoon, we believe work should fuel your growth, not drain it.
