Overview

The PBX Operator is responsible for answering telephone calls and successfully connecting the caller to the appropriate party.  The ability to respond quickly and accurately to the emergency telephone and/or alarms.  The operator is responsible for filing and purging all outpatient charts.  Other clerical duties and projects as assigned.  Sorting the US Mail in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education: -A high school diploma or GED

Experience:  Prior years experience in a medical-related field or medical practice preferred.  Computer literacy required.  Must be able to operate ten-key calculator.  Must be able to effectively communicate with the public.
