Job Description
As a Security Officer Spanish Language Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and tenants while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and local emergency responders as needed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
