This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join Biocair as our Finance Manager for South Africa.
Working as part of both the Regional Leadership Team and the wider global Finance function, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic decision-making across the region.
In this role, you'll lead financial reporting, controls, compliance and audit activities while developing a high-performing finance team and partnering with operational leaders to deliver commercial success.

Working as part of both the Regional Leadership Team and the wider global Finance function, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic decision-making across the region.
In this role, you'll lead financial reporting, controls, compliance and audit activities while developing a high-performing finance team and partnering with operational leaders to deliver commercial success.
Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Leading the delivery of accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reporting
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash management and intercompany accounting processes
- Driving continuous improvement of financial controls, processes and compliance across the region
- Partnering with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Leading internal and external audit processes and ensuring all statutory reporting obligations are met
- Providing financial insight, guidance and challenge to the Regional Leadership Team to support strategic decision-making
- Managing financial risk and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements
- Building strong relationships with regional stakeholders, external auditors, banks, tax authorities and professional advisors
- Supporting business improvement initiatives, process optimisation and digital transformation across Finance
- Leading, coaching and developing finance colleagues to build a high-performing and engaged team
What you'll bring:
- A recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CICPA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
- Strong experience within a finance leadership role, ideally in an international or matrix organisation
- Experience leading financial reporting, controls, compliance and audit activities
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and global trading, tax and compliance requirements
- A proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing financial controls
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the business
- Experience using ERP systems (Sage X3 or similar) would be advantageous
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines

- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
