Senior Project Leader Project Management
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Leader to lead global semiconductor product development projects from concept through product release. This role is responsible for driving project execution, coordinating worldwide cross-functional teams, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives, quality targets, schedules, and business goals. The ideal candidate combines strong technical semiconductor knowledge with project leadership expertise and excels in working with global stakeholders across Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Lead and manage semiconductor product development projects from project initiation to successful project closure. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and project documentation. Coordinate and align project requirements across globally distributed teams and stakeholders. Lead cross-functional development teams by defining objectives, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring team alignment. Establish effective communication and meeting structures to facilitate collaboration among project members and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and drive execution to meet quality, cost, schedule, and performance targets. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while leading risk management and problem-solving activities. Facilitate discussions among technical experts and drive fact-based decision-making. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely communication of project status, challenges, and achievements. Ensure adherence to product development processes, milestones, and governance requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and team effectiveness. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Education Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in: Electronics Engineering Microelectronics Physics Semiconductor Engineering Or related technical disciplines Experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Solid knowledge of semiconductor devices and power switch technologies. Proven experience leading R&D or product development projects. Experience managing at least one project throughout the complete project lifecycle from initiation to closure is an advantage. Experience working in international and cross-functional environments. Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of: Silicon-based power devices Silicon Carbide (SiC) technologies Gallium Nitride (GaN) technologies Semiconductor device physics Power semiconductor applications Knowledge of Infineon's power semiconductor technology and product portfolio is an added advantage. Project Management Skills Strong project planning, scheduling, and risk management capabilities. Experience managing project deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Formal Project Management certification (e.g., IPMA Level C, PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus. Soft Skills Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Language Skills Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
