We are looking for a Service Sales Specialist to drive sales growth across our High Voltage (HV) Service business. In this role, you will develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and promote service solutions for HV equipment, including transformers, GIS, and AIS systems. You will collaborate closely with technical and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and contribute to the growth of our service business across Malaysia.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual order, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Promote and sell HV service solutions, including transformer, GIS, and AIS-related services.
- Engage with customers to understand their operational challenges and recommend appropriate service offerings.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and value-driven solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through regular customer engagement and site visits.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and commercial teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular market and customer insights.
- Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, procedures, and ethical business practices.

Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, service sales, or business development within the power, electrical, or energy industry.
- Knowledge of High Voltage equipment, particularly transformers, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), and AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear).
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Self-motivated team player with a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel across Malaysia and occasionally within the region for customer engagements.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utility, power transmission, service, or electrical infrastructure industries.
- Knowledge of lifecycle service solutions, maintenance, retrofit, upgrade, or asset management services for HV equipment.
- Existing network within utilities, industrial customers, or energy sector stakeholders.
