Job Description Summary

The Lean Leader is responsible for driving the deployment and sustainment of the Lean Management System (LMS) across the site while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role leads to Daily Management System (DMS) governance, Kaizen deployment, and problem-solving activities to improve site performance and deliver sustainable business results.

The Lean Leader partners with cross-functional teams to drive productivity initiatives, manage VCP/CCP programs, implement digital solutions through Power Platform tools, and support NPI improvement activities. The role is accountable for identifying improvement opportunities, eliminating waste, standardizing best practices, and accelerating operational performance through Lean methodologies and data-driven decision making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead deployment, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the Lean Management System (LMS) and Daily Management System (DMS) across the site.
  • Facilitate Daily Management reviews, KPI tracking, action management, and DMS audits to ensure execution discipline and operational performance.
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, lead time, and process efficiency.
  • Manage the site Kaizen pipeline, including idea generation, project tracking, action follow-up, benefit validation, and roadmap reviews.
  • Drive Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) and Conversion Cost Productivity (CCP) initiatives by facilitating cross-functional idea generation, project execution, and performance reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational dashboards and reporting systems to improve visibility, decision-making, and performance management.
  • Benchmark and deploy best practices from internal and external sources to drive operational excellence and business impact.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and 3P activities through process reviews, value stream analysis, productivity assessments, and manufacturability improvements.
  • Deliver Lean training, coaching, and capability-building programs to strengthen problem-solving, continuous improvement, and Lean leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Prepare and communicate project updates, productivity results, Kaizen achievements, and business performance metrics to site and global leadership teams.

Qualifications:

  • Min +3 years of experience in LEAN/Smart factory or Supply Chain/Production/Quality/Engineering 
  • English communication skill is a must Embrace and believe in Lean culture
  • Customer focused; be able to handle conflicts in difficult situations
  • Passionate about learning and deploying Lean tools to deliver sustainable results
  • Problem definition & structuring ability; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and results-driven
