Meet the team: In this role, you will act as the control tower for all APAC sub assembly builds that that are required to execute to the Global plan more specifically to support our Malaysia plant. You will work closely with the CM Americas Planner and the Global Supply Lead to ensure operations is driving to consolidated and comprehensive plans. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Planning, this role plays a critical part in the global supply planning of Dexcom’s product portfolio. Where you come in: * You establish and maintain the production schedule for appropriate component and FG items * You create and maintain a production and shipment plan for CMs (contract manufacturers) consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast while considering current inventory stocking levels at Dexcom and its CMs. Accountable for production plan adherence. * You set targets for safety stock levels based on lead times and network capacity as well as 3PL reorder points. * You own the APAC CM S&OP process which acts as a ‘control tower’ to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the changing capacity, build plan, and inventory needs while considering and mitigating risk factors that may affect absorption targets. Ensure shipment and production conformance of CMs. This should align with Americas CM S&OP plans. * You build contingency plans around inventory buildup as equipment ramp ups, shutdowns and transfers occur throughout the year that tend to disrupt supply. * You prevent production brown outs due to poor planning and visibility. * You recommend system driven planning and focus on the accuracy of MRP signals as well as the automation of manual planning tools to enable faster and more accurate reporting for all levels of the organization. * You analyze and challenge production specifications and plant capacity data as warranted to get to the most cost optimized production plan for the company. * You integrate MRP signals and exception management processes into all planning/scheduling activities * You assist in configuration management initiatives by partnering with cross functional teams and improving systems and processes to minimize E&O risks * You communicate potential schedule risks and escalate to appropriate parties as needed. * You establish and maintain key performance indicators that measure capacity, manufacturing, and inventory planning targets and benchmark against industry best practices. Essentially measure control tower effectiveness. What makes you successful: * You have direct experience in component level planning and forecasting, preferably in a manufacturing environment * You are advanced user of Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP/MRP systems * You have experience in the medical device or CPG industry * You have knowledge of capacity planning and contract manufacturing * You have experience working with overseas suppliers and distribution networks * You have experience with Oracle MRP system and advanced planning software experience a plus What you’ll get: * A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Travel Required: * 15-25% Experience and Education Requirements: * Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 – 12 years of related experience
