Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.Job DescriptionResponsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archivingResponsible for receiving and storing reagents both in the facility and in LabVantageResponsible for inventory managementResponsible for post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendoutsContributes to laboratory maintenance, as assignedInterfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requestsRecommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficienciesPerforms duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.Assists department as needed with routine operationsSupports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethicsIn order to meet Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or equivalentWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS0 – 2 years of experienceNew to the clinical laboratory testing environmentStrong customer service skillsStrong Communication Skills and analytical skills POTENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORSThis laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials.
