Chief of Orthopedics - Physician - NYC Health + Hospitals – Queens Hospital Center
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals | Queens serving culturally diverse communities in Queens, New York, seeks a physician leader to join our team at Queens as the Chief of Orthopedics, to lead the delivery of high-quality care for all musculoskeletal conditions.
- Responsible for the administration, planning, organizing and overall general management of the Department of Orthopedics.
- Implement a strategic vision around quality, growth, and efficiency, and help develop new clinical programs for the patients we serve in the community.
- Provide a wide range of comprehensive Orthopedic care and services to patients of all ages.
- Must have a MD or DO degree
- Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
- Should have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience and communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems are preferred.
Compensation
We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
Compensation range from 500K to 600K (not including incentive compensation or benefits)
