At Chubb, we are transforming the way insurance operations are led. As Digital Team Leader within our Operations Hub for Continental Europe, you will lead a team of Underwriting Operations Technicians working across Online and Submissions functions in an AI-augmented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Underwriting Operations Technicians across Online and Submissions.
- Manage work allocation across automated and human-handled queues to balance efficiency and quality.
- Monitor team performance, SLA delivery, and exception trends, taking corrective action when needed.
- Review and sign off on daily SOX and AI governance reports, ensuring strong auditability and control.
- Support team development in AI literacy and human-in-the-loop decision-making.
- Act as a change champion, translating automation capabilities into practical team processes.
- Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, internal customers, and third-party providers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Participate in testing, validation, and UAT for workflow and AI-related changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, extend automation safely, and remove non-value-added steps.
- Provide management information and insights to support leadership decisions.
- Business-level English is a must. Fluent level in Italian would be desirable.
- Experience in insurance or financial services operations, ideally in underwriting support, policy administration, or submission processing.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
- Strong comfort working in AI-augmented environments and evaluating automated outputs critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge operations and technology.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with insurance platforms such as Ignite/ICT or similar is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and think in systems.
- A proactive, change-oriented approach with a genuine interest in transformation and continuous improvement.
