About the role

Commit builds software products for clients across embedded, IoT, SaaS, AI/ML, e-commerce, mobile, and web. We’re looking for a Full Stack Team Lead to own the technical direction of a product team — setting architecture, raising engineering standards, and shipping. This is a role for someone who leads by example and treats modern AI-assisted development as a core part of the craft.

What you’ll do

•            Own the technical design and architecture of full stack applications, end to end.

•            Lead a team of engineers — code reviews, mentoring, and raising delivery quality and velocity.

•            Stay hands-on: write production JavaScript/TypeScript across the React and Node.js stack.

•            Drive AI-first development practices (Claude Code, Cursor) across the team.

•            Work closely with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

•            Uphold engineering standards: testing, CI/CD, code quality, and delivery discipline.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications

•            7+ years as a software engineer, including senior-level work.

•            5+ years as a tech lead / team lead.

•            1+ years experience in AI Tools Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor.

•            Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

•            Expert-level command of the full stack ecosystem: build tooling (e.g. Vite) and frameworks/libraries (e.g. TanStack, Redux, Zustand).

•            Strong hands-on experience with AI-first development (Claude Code, Cursor).

•            Fluent with modern dev tooling: Git, JIRA, Jenkins.

•            Professional-level English.

•            Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

•            Additional programming languages and frameworks.

•            Fluency with API design and documentation tooling (e.g. Swagger, SwaggerHub, IBM API Connect).

•            Experience working in large organizations (e.g. banking / financial services).
