Construction Loan Doc Review & Monitoring Set Up Clerk
Overview
The Construction Loan Doc Review & Monitoring Set Up Clerk position is responsible for completing post-closing reviews of loan documentation for construction loans. The Construction Loan Doc Review & Monitoring Set Up Clerk is responsible for reviewing budget documentation to ensure an accurate budget has been provided and that the final budget adheres to any approval requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide support and backup to the Construction Monitoring Assistant Lead and Construction Monitoring Lead
- Ensure activation of all construction loans within the Construct monitoring system ensuring that total project costs and required borrower injected equity amounts are properly tracked
- Maintain workflow and ensuring compliance with Loan Policy and procedures, as well as SOX requirements under the guidance of the Construction Monitoring Assistant Lead and Construction Monitoring Lead
- Review construction loan documentation for documentation exceptions as well as verify project costs, equity requirements, and verify HVCRE status, if applicable
- Review documentation to ensure compliance with Renasant Loan Policy as it pertains to proper loan documentation
- Ensure that all construction loans are approved properly and in compliance with Loan Policy requirements
- Assist with monitoring daily and monthly reports to ensure that all construction loans are properly maintained in the construction monitoring system.
- Assist with set up new user access for both internal and external users, as needed
- Assist with entering information for residential and commercial inspections, as needed
- Assist to ensure proper administration and that Loan Policy guidelines are followed during the life of the construction loan, as needed
- Escalate discrepancies to either the Construction Monitoring Assistant Lead, Construction Monitoring Team Lead, Credit Admin Manager, or other members of Management, as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of banking, loan documentation, credit quality, compliance or underwriting experience
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction loans, with ability to increase knowledge
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to learn federal and state laws and regulations related to construction loans, including documentation requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of a personal computer, database management, and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
