Sr. Manager – OEM Sales

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager of OEM Sales to join the Audio Video Division. This is a remote position reporting to Minnetonka, MN. This position manages and grows Legrand AV OEM partnerships and leads the OEM team across multiple OEM channels, including direct OEM, IT OEM, private label, etc channels. The role integrates Legrand AV components and products into original equipment manufacturers’ solutions to drive additional product sales. It also requires strategic collaboration with partner Product Development, Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to secure design-in wins, specification wins, and long-term supply agreements.
What Will You Do?
- Secure design-in opportunities by positioning Legrand products as essential components in customers’ finished equipment.
- Manage the full OEM sales cycle, from technical concept and prototyping through production ramp-up and lifecycle management.
- Lead and manage the OEM team, providing direction, coaching, and accountability to achieve partnership, revenue, and design-in objectives.
- Manage and align multiple OEM channels, including direct OEM, IT OEM, Workstation, private label, etc channels, to support growth and OEM channel effectiveness.
- Coordinate with Legrand product management and customer technical teams on custom product requests or modifications.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans with defined revenue, margin, and market share targets for assigned industrial segments.
- Negotiate supply contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) aligned with OEM volume requirements.
- Provide sales forecasts and demand planning updates to internal manufacturing teams to support supply chain continuity for high-volume accounts.
- Represent Legrand AV at trade shows and technical symposiums to identify emerging OEM trends and new applications.
- Help resolve technical or logistical issues to minimize disruption to customers’ production lines.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of three (5+) years’ experience in technical sales, large account management, or industrial marketing.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to interpret technical standards, engineering drawings, and specifications to support OEM requirements.
- Strong technical AV and IT product aptitude, with the ability to discuss product integration and performance metrics with product teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce and Power BI) and project management software for tracking complex, multi-year design cycles.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale accounts with strong attention to technical and commercial requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an OEM team, including setting priorities, coaching team members, and driving accountability for results.
- Experience managing diverse OEM channels and balancing channel-specific requirements, partner expectations, and growth objectives.
- Excellent negotiation skills for long-term contract management and pricing strategy.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling product samples or demonstration kits.
- Work regularly in corporate office settings and customer manufacturing/assembly facilities.
- Minimum 50% travel required for on-site customer visits, technical reviews, and factory audits.
