  • This role is based at our Hyderabad Tech Center and follows a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote. Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the Hyderabad office.

Role Overview

As an Integration Engineer you will be responsible for preparing low-level design, develop, and maintain Integrations on various platforms. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems and create efficient, reliable integrations. You will use your expertise in integration technologies (such as MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and cloud services) to build resilient, scalable, and secure integration services that power our enterprise applications and data products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and delivery leads, to translate business and technical requirements into reliable integration services. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team. 

What will you do in this role:

  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions across MuleSoft and Kong platforms.

  • Build and maintain RESTful & SOAP APIs using RAML/OpenAPI, ensuring adherence to API‑led connectivity.

  • Implement integration patterns (e.g., API‑led connectivity, message queues, batch integrations, ESB‑style flows) to connect internal and external systems.

  • Oversee unit, system, and integration testing using MUnit, JUnit, Test containers, and automated CI/CD pipelines.

  • Oversee integrations deployed across AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS).

  • Drive secure coding and integration best practices, including use of standard authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).

  • Ensure integration solutions follow governance for versioning, security, SLAs, and documentation standards.

  • Maintain API documentation, integration inventories, and operational runbooks.

  • Participate in Product planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both functional and Product goals.

  • Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including back-end services and  application enhancements.

What should you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.

  • 3-7 years hands-on experience building enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, Kong, or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills:

Primary Skills (Must have):

  • Integration platforms: MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager and other MuleSoft tools.

  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, ESB, and SOA and API security best practices.

  • Knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven).

  • Proficiency in authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML).

  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, XSLT, OData, REST, and SOA.

  • Experience with Dataweave for data transformation.

  • Familiarity with restful and soap web services.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iPaaS integration projects such as Jenkins, MAVEN, ADO. Strong experience with version control systems (GitHub, GitHub action, bitbucket).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

  • Frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular, along with backend development.

  • Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot and backend service development.

  • Cloud-native, AWS certified would be a plus.

  • Product and customer-centric approach.
