We’re seeking a motivated and talented Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive culinary environment. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen brigade to prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
What you will do
Support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and service of high-quality dishes
Take responsibility for a designated section when required, ensuring consistent standards are maintained
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in line with recipes and presentation standards
Monitor portion control and minimise food waste
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries
Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie within a professional kitchen
A genuine passion for food and high-quality culinary standards
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
