Senior Product Engineer - Enterprise Readiness, Data & Security
馃殌 We鈥檙e on a mission to make real estate transactions smarter, faster, and friction-free.
馃彚 Real estate is the world鈥檚 largest asset class, yet the legal processes and tools behind it remain slow, manual, and underinvested. Lawyers must review dense documents line by line and piece together information across silos, all while clients demand faster, more transparent due diligence.
馃 That's where we come in. Orbital Copilot is the AI assistant built exclusively for commercial real estate law. Developed with former practicing real estate lawyers, it accelerates complex due diligence by up to 70% while delivering legal-grade precision.
馃挵 We鈥檝e just raised a $60m Series B to accelerate our UK/US expansion.
馃 We're trusted by leading firms like Goodwin and BCLP to remove the busywork so legal teams can focus on what they do best: applying sharp legal judgment, delivering standout client service, and getting deals over the line faster.
馃挕 Working at Orbital means joining a team that's reimagining how real estate transactions get done - moving fast, working collaboratively, and giving people the ownership to make a real impact from day one.
What you'll do
Own our enterprise trust and security surface as a living product: trust centre, DDQ responses, security one-pagers, architecture diagrams and bridge letters, always current and ready from day one of a deal.
Translate technical answers into language procurement, legal and IT teams can act on, without ever overstating what the product does.
Get hands-on with the architecture: data residency, BYOK and key management, multi-tenancy, SSO/SCIM, audit and retention, subprocessors, and our SOC 2/ISO posture, making real trade-offs with engineering.
Own the AI-specific side of enterprise trust: data retention scope, no-training evidence, model inventory, and what our AI agents are permitted to do and how it's audited.
Ship the features that make enterprise readiness real: admin controls, audit logging, retention and purge tooling, regional hosting, connector permissions.
Turn one-off questionnaires into reusable assets and recurring questions into shipped features, so security stops bottlenecking deals.
Work directly with sales, customer success, legal and our external infosec partner to move enterprise deals forward.
Own enterprise readiness across new business and existing customers alike.
What we're looking for
A hands-on builder who's personally shipped product features, not just documentation or policy.
Real experience in enterprise security conversations: you've sat opposite a customer's IT/security team on a live deal, or owned a security blocker to resolution.
Working fluency in data residency, encryption/key management, SSO, audit/retention, and security certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent), deep enough to make architecture calls with engineers.
A genuine point of view on how AI agents change security and trust, ideally backed by hands-on use of AI/agent tooling in your own work.
B2B software experience selling to large organisations; regulated industries (legal, finance, insurance) are a plus but not required.
A track record of turning one-off problems into reusable systems, not repeated manual fixes.
Comfortable operating with autonomy and no direct authority over the people you depend on.
馃敀 Security is everyone鈥檚 responsibility at Orbital. We ask all team members to follow our security policies, complete regular awareness training, and handle sensitive data with care in line with ISO 27001 standards. Spot something unusual? Reporting risks or incidents quickly helps us maintain the strong culture of security and compliance we all depend on.
馃挕 At Orbital, we鈥檙e committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We especially welcome applications from people who are traditionally underrepresented in tech. Even if you don鈥檛 meet every single requirement, or if the right role isn鈥檛 listed yet, we鈥檇 still love to hear from you.
