Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Specialist to join SHIELD, a division of Secure Environmental Consultants, part of the HCSG family of companies.

Position Summary
The Business Support Specialist provides cross-functional support to SHIELD’s leadership team, employees, clients, and day-to-day business functions. This role touches nearly every part of the organization, from recruiting and onboarding to employee support, client communication, documentation, special projects, and process improvement.
Success in this position requires initiative, sound judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and strong technology abilities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new employee documentation.
Serve as a resource for employee questions and ensure timely follow-up.
Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and administrative activities.
Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents.
Maintain accurate records and support organizational compliance.
Help improve workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
Coordinate and support special projects assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in business support, administration, operations, human resources, or a related field.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other business technology platforms.
Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
