Sr. Category Manager, Data Center Procurement
Primarily supporting low voltage labor (structured cabling) Master Service Agreements, Service Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), and RFx support. These activities are essential to maintaining project schedules and ensuring timely vendor engagement.
In addition to supporting Low Voltage procurement, the team has assumed responsibility for a growing portfolio of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) requests. Although 3PL activities represent a smaller portion of the overall workload, they require the same level of coordination, contract management, and responsiveness to support critical infrastructure deployments.
Responsibility for launching and managing RFx requests. Supporting RFx development, supplier communications, bid evaluation, and coordination through the sourcing process further expands the team's responsibilities and reinforces the need for additional resources to maintain timely execution and meet OCI's aggressive data center expansion timelines.
Responsible for:
Conducting Low Voltage Master Agreement negotiations (Low Voltage MSA, FMA).
Preparing and negotiating Low Voltage Service Orders.
Processing Purchase Orders (POs) for Low Voltage services.
Processing Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) to support vendor engagements.
Supporting OCI with Low Voltage RFP activities.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong contract, negotiation and procurement skills
• Strong business and legal understanding.
• Knowledge of the Data Center and Telecommunication (network) industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully build relationships and influence individuals both up and down the organizational hierarchy.
• Ability to deal with potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy and tact.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated to work independently to deliver positive business results.
• Confidently and appropriately exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders on a regional, global, and/or virtual basis.
• Strong organizational skills
