This posting is to connect you directly with one or more companies in our portfolio that are actively hiring a Founding Protocol Engineer.What We’re Looking For:Experience building protocols at scale ($10M+ TVL or 10k+ users)Deep understanding of EVM internals, gas optimization, and smart contract security best practicesTrack record shipping audited, production smart contracts (mainnet experience required)Comfort owning protocol architecture end-to-end, from spec to deployment to post-launch monitoringExperience with core protocol tooling (Foundry, Hardhat) and testing/fuzzing frameworksAbility to work directly with founders in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with minimal oversightAbout the Role:You’ll lead protocol development for a consumer-focused crypto project with real traction and ambitious scale. Your work will include:Designing and implementing smart contracts from scratch, not just iterating on existing DeFi primitivesCo-leading fee and incentive design, including tokenomics and dynamic pricing curvesResearching and developing new mechanisms around randomness, composability, and scalabilityOwning key integrations with cross-chain infrastructure and third-party protocolsWorking directly with the founding team (including protocol and consumer product veterans) to define technical strategy and roadmapEven if you don't match every point above but are an engineer passionate about crypto, we encourage you to apply.
