About the Role
This is a founding Customer Success hire at a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed AI startup in Munich operating in the B2B enterprise software space. The company automates quoting and order processing workflows for distributors and manufacturers — helping sales teams eliminate manual work, reduce lost deals, and close more business.
As the first Customer Success Manager, you will own the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding through expansion, working directly alongside product, sales, and engineering leadership to shape how customers adopt the product and how the product evolves. This is a high-impact, strategic role for someone who wants to help build a company from the ground up.
What You'll Do

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for customers, driving satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Lead onboarding and implementation programs to ensure fast time-to-value and sustained engagement.
Run workshops and training sessions to accelerate product adoption and share best practices across customer teams.
Collect and translate customer feedback into actionable insights, and directly influence the product roadmap.
Help customers identify and unlock measurable efficiency gains and cost savings; support them during key business negotiations.
Manage accounts proactively to drive retention, upsell opportunities, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Collaborate closely with the CPO, sales, and engineering teams to ensure customer needs shape development priorities.
Travel to customer sites occasionally to deepen relationships and deliver in-person value.
