If you're looking for a place where your contributions have real impact, you’ll fit right in.Job DescriptionRESPEC seeks an Early Career Engineer to join our team in our Cheyenne, WY.This position requires demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and business practices to plan and execute a diverse range of engineering projects. The primary focus of the role is the reclamation of abandoned mine lands, supporting projects from planning through design and construction. Key responsibilities include:Assist with the planning, investigation, inventory, design, and construction oversight of abandoned mine land projectsSupport site assessments and geotechnical investigations of mined landsAssist in the design of mine opening closures and regrading activitiesAssist in the design and reclamation of hazardous highwallsAssist in the design of drainage conveyance systems, including channels, underdrains, and other stormwater controlsWe do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor of science or master of science degree in civil, environmental, or mining engineering from an ABET accredited universityA minimum of 1 year of mining engineering work experienceAt least 1 year of experience using mining-related software such as AutoCAD Map 3D, Carlson, ArcGIS ProA minimum of 1 year of experience interpreting and applying the guidelines in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)Additional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
