Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst

Fort Meade, MDFull-time$112k–$179kPosted Jul 24, 2026

Responsibilities

Foreign intelligence services are constantly probing for ways to target U.S. personnel, programs, and interests — and it takes a skilled analyst to find them first. Peraton is looking for a Counterintelligence Analyst to support USCYBERCOM J2X at Fort Meade, MD, conducting all-source analysis across CI functions to identify threats, assess foreign intelligence capabilities, and produce the analytical products that keep the command ahead of adversary collection efforts.

In this role, you'll apply deep CI tradecraft to research foreign intelligence services' intent and methods, assess emerging technology threats, and develop studies and products that directly inform CI concepts, plans, and strategies. This is an analytically-driven role for professionals who combine rigorous all-source tradecraft with a thorough understanding of the CI mission — and who have the field experience to back it up.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct all-source analysis across CI functions using information from multiple sources to identify trends, gaps, and leads
  • Assess, interpret, forecast, and provide warning of foreign intelligence services' intent and capability to target U.S. interests
  • Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting to collect sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests
  • Identify threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests
  • Apply knowledge of foreign intelligence capabilities, activities, and TTPs for in-depth analytic research
  • Produce all-source CI studies and tactical and operational-level analytical products to support RFIs
  • Help inform development of CI concepts, procedures, plans, and strategies from an analytical perspective
  • Adhere to ODNI and DIA all-source analytic tradecraft standards
  • Inform development of briefings for foreign visitors and/or personnel traveling to countries with elevated CI threat
  • Ensure colleagues, team members, and leadership remain well-informed on the status and disposition of relevant CI products
  • Author and maintain Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives
