As “Alternatives Product Development & Fund Controller Platform Enablement Professional ” within our “Global Alternative Investment Product Development” team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with fund controllers, product, investor relations, front office, technology, and operations to drive the GAIS Fund Controller and Tax platform roadmap.
- Support product vision and strategy by synthesizing fund controller/client/advisor needs with business goals into product roadmaps.
- Conduct current-state analysis across product offerings, regional differences, and improvement opportunities to inform prioritization.
- Coordinate cross-LOB governance support by preparing materials for forums, working groups, and stakeholder reviews.
- Track OKRs/KPIs to measure cross-LOB commercial impact and maintain accountability across workstreams.
- Assist delivery of annual and quarterly investment plans and execution of planned milestones.
- Report forecast variances, escalate risks, and propose mitigations to support timely execution.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, quarterly planning, sprint planning, showcases) and contribute across prioritization, execution, and communications.
- Prepare stakeholder communications and adoption materials in partnership with learning and training teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, requirements, and development processes while ensuring firmwide governance standards are met.
- Develop a detailed understanding of client/advisor needs and the competitive & market landscape (including vendor/fintech offerings) to inform capability strategy and roadmaps.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bring 8 years of experience in asset/wealth management, alternatives, product management, or related fields.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, including synthesizing complex information into clear presentations and memos for senior audiences.
- Collaborate effectively across teams in a global, matrixed organization, including managing up and coordinating across functions.
- Manage multiple workstreams with strong organization, attention to detail, and minimal supervision.
- Apply strong analytical and quantitative skills to structure ambiguity and support decision-making.
- Visualize and work with data using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Support process improvement, operational efficiency, and/or lean-oriented initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
