Overview

    Bluesight is seeking a Director of Clinical Strategy to support our KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere products. This role is ideal for a clinical leader who is passionate about using technology to solve real-world challenges in healthcare, specifically around medication management.
    The ideal candidate is a healthcare expert who thrives on educating stakeholders, building value-driven relationships, and has deep knowledge in inventory management, patient safety, and healthcare operations. As a strategic partner to both prospective and existing clients, you'll help demonstrate how Bluesight's KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere platforms maximize staff productivity with significantly faster restocking, recall mitigation, and shortage management across central pharmacies, ORs, clinics, and other drug distribution centers. Working closely with the Senior Director of Clinical Strategy, you'll serve as the clinical voice for the KitCheck product line across sales, product, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic & trusting relationships to advise healthcare leaders on best practices for KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere
  • Lead live product demonstrations, virtually and in person, to help hospital teams evaluate and operationalize KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere within their existing workflows
  • Drive sales performance by collaborating with the sales team to convey the value of KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere and their automation processes to prospective clients
  • Assist sales leaders in developing business plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Engage all levels of the hospital staff from the technical staff through the C-suite
  • Leverage a deep knowledge of the hospital pharmacy operations and patient safety practices to provide insight to clients
  • Partner with the product team to provide customer feedback and clinical input that shapes the KitCheck and KitCheck Anywhere roadmap
  • Act as a thought leader and partner with marketing to lead webinars produce relevant and informative content for prospective and current clients
  • Keep informed of current legislation trends and regulations and practices affecting nursing, pharmacy, supply chain, and healthcare in general

Qualifications & Skills

  • Pharmacist with at least 5+ years of management experience in a hospital setting
  • Deep, hands-on product experience with KitCheck and/or RFID-based inventory systems, with the fluency to run demonstrations and field technical and clinical questions with minimal support
  • Proven track record of operating autonomously and leading multidisciplinary projects with minimal oversight
  • Direct experience evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve hospital processes
  • Knowledgeable on pharmacy procurement, inventory management, and patient safety
  • Polished, confident presenter — both virtually and in person — able to tailor delivery and influence decision-making across disciplines, from frontline pharmacy and nursing staff to the C-suite
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
