We are seeking a Post-Production Coordinator to support the International Originals Postproduction team in Spain, assisting in the management of operational and administrative activities across all genres (Movies, Scripted and Unscripted content).
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, respond promptly to time-sensitive situations, and support the Postproduction Executives in addressing challenges that arise during postproduction. They should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is essential, as well as professionalism when interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Working across various formats and production types, the candidate will support a diverse portfolio of content including movies, scripted series, and unscripted shows. They will provide day-to-day support to the Post-Production Executives, helping organize and track projects from postproduction setup through final delivery and archival.
Key job responsibilities
• Support postproduction projects (scripted, unscripted and movies) across all stages from development through postproduction, delivery and launch.
• Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Postproduction team, including trackers, department templates, postproduction guidelines and documents (e.g., post schedules, calendars, vendor agreements, delivery reports) maintaining constant coordination with the Production team.
• Support Postproduction Executives with budget tracking, bid analysis, and cost reporting across postproduction vendors and facilities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and postproduction facilities regarding deliverables, payments, vendor onboarding, and administrative support.
• Maintain and update prod/postproduction calendars, ensuring major milestones are met (e.g., picture lock, sound mix, color grade, final master delivery, archival).
• Facilitate coordination between internal teams including Creative, Production, Marketing, Communications, Localization, Distribution Operations, Delivery, and Technology.
• Support the vetting and onboarding process for postproduction vendors, facilities, and freelance staff.
• Organize and coordinate inter-departmental calls, prepare agendas, track follow-ups and action items.• Update and manage multiple internal platforms and tools used by the Prod-Post Production team.
• Leverage AI tools to simplify, automate, and streamline team tasks and workflows.
• Assist in the preparation of technical workflow documentation and asset delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with Amazon Studios Coordinators to maintain alignment across territories and departments.
A day in the life
The primary focus of this role is to be the operational backbone of the Post Production team — acting as the conduit of information between Post Production Executives, Production team, internal departments, and external post production partners and vendors. Working across scripted series, unscripted shows, and movies, you will support a diverse portfolio of content providing day-to-day administrative and operational support, helping organize and track projects from post production setup through final delivery and archival. You will support the Post Production Executives in overseeing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships, ensuring all Amazon MGM Studios technical specifications and asset requirements are on track. You will take initiative to move tasks forward and have the ability to think strategically about how to best support the team and wider department.
- Knowledge of post production processes and workflows (editorial, sound, color, VFX, finishing).
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (C2).
- Proficient in using MS Office.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience with international subtitling and dubbing workflows.
- Experience working with post production facilities, sound houses, VFX vendors, and other industry players.
- Understanding of post production budgeting, scheduling, and technical workflows
- Experience with creating and maintaining schedules for various projects.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and delivery specifications.
- Knowledge of Cloud-based workflows.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows.

- Experience as a coordinator or assistant at a TV network, studio, post production facility, or production company.- Knowledge of post production processes and workflows (editorial, sound, color, VFX, finishing).
