DEKA Research & Development, based in Manchester, New Hampshire, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful administrative professional to support senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
This fast-paced role centers on administrative and executive support, with additional responsibilities in project coordination. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and a proactive problem-solver who can manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and keep leadership and projects running smoothly.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and mastery of written and spoken English.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Administrative/Executive Support
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, meeting logistics, and correspondence for leadership.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and event planning.
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up notes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring professional and timely communication.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, records, and documentation.
  • Anticipate the needs of leadership and proactively handle details so nothing falls through the cracks.
Project Coordination
  • Track project plans, deadlines, and action items across multiple workstreams.
  • Support communications and follow-up between internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensure commitments are tracked and completed on schedule.
Skills You Will Need to Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience in administrative support, office management, executive assistance, or a related role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Impeccable judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • High initiative, reliability, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort supporting a technical, engineering-driven organization.
  • Must be able to work on-site at DEKA five days per week and respond to occasional urgent requests outside standard business hours.
