Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Travel Retail West to appoint a Senior Visual Merchandising Executive, over a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract, based in our London head office. This role reports to the VM Manager and is based in our office 4 days per week with the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Visual Merchandising projects across Travel Retail EMEA, ensuring execution is on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards.
- Manage new store openings, renovations, campaign launches, pop-ups, and promotional activations in partnership with Store Design, Brand Teams, and retailers.
- Oversee project budgets, supplier management, production, logistics, installation, and asset delivery.
- Plan and deliver campaign collateral, lightboxes, planograms, and VM updates across the region.
- Maintain VM calendars, databases, and asset compliance, ensuring accurate records and effective inventory management.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, installers, and external agencies to ensure best-in-class execution.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and drive continuous improvements to processes and in-store execution.
- Present project updates to stakeholders and support VM training, workshops, and Go-to-Market meetings.
- Coach and support junior team members while promoting collaboration and high execution standards.
Qualifications
About You
- Experience in Visual Merchandising within beauty, fragrance, luxury, or premium retail (Travel Retail experience preferred).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, suppliers, and external partners.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for premium retail execution.
- Willingness to travel across the EMEA region when required.
