Job Description
Capgemini is seeking a Sr. Director level executive to lead & grow the LS practice in India market. Invent operates in key LS markets incl. North America, UK, France, India. The focus will be mainly on Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory domains for Indian clients.
India will be the Priority 1 market. Occasionally, the leader can also work with international Invent teams for business development and delivery in their markets (e.g., NA, UK) on Priority 2 basis.
This person will be responsible for meeting sales, revenue, team utilization budgets.
The candidate should have a Growth along with Client Centricity mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition).

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for the LS Consulting practice, ensuring alignment with Capgemini Invent’s global objectives and market strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of consultants, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Foster an environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the insurance sector, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services.
- Project Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of consulting projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, are delivered on time, and adhere to budget constraints.
- Thought Leadership: Establish Capgemini Invent as a thought leader in the LS R&D/ Clinical Development domain by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and engaging in relevant forums.
- Business Development: P&L Responsibility of the Industry vertical and to meet business targets and KPIs defined by Invent, Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and leading client pitches.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to provide insightful advice to clients and inform service offerings.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient management of the consulting practice’s operations, including resource allocation, financial performance, and quality assurance.
Primary Skills
Will have 18-25 years of experience in LS domains - Pharma (Manufacturing, SCM, Quality, Regulatory) with a strong project track record and demonstrated P&L contribution to sales. A Bachelor’s degree is must; MBA is strongly preferred.
