As a Senior Food and Drinks Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing the seamless execution of Food & Drinks Service operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Together with the team, deliver excellent service to all Guests visiting the restaurant, bar and JAQ Atelier to ensure guest satisfaction and quality to the highest standards
• Be responsible for the sequence of service of JAQ Atelier  - Rotterdams first immersive Art & Dining experience
• Carry out active upselling through storytelling of all Food & Drinks offerings and train Team Members to do the same so the team can achieve budgeted sales together and tailor the best experience for every guest visiting our venues 
• Efficient handling of guests' complaints and follow-up to make sure the guest leaves happy, always communicate with the Food & Drinks Manager and F&D Venues Manager 
• Keep an overview and structure of the restaurant, bar, JAQ Atelier as well as communication with the Kitchen and Stewarding department
• On-boarding and training of new Team Members; ensure they have a warm, friendly welcome and make sure they have all the knowledge, skills and confidence to be successful in their job 
• Order beverages and making the schedule; through our suppliers and dedicated planning systems, as well as other administrative duties

We are looking for a senior Food & Drinks Supervisor - someone who: 

• Has experience as Food & Drinks Supervisor; preferably in a 5* hotel
• Is passionate about delivering excellent service to our guests 
• Enjoys having conversations with guests to build relationships and loyalty 
• Is able to solve any challenge or complaint that might arise - always keeping Guest Satisfaction in mind 
• Is able to keep an overview and structure of the different venues - ensuring efficiency 
• Can train, motivate, coach and guide Team Members 
• Keeps an eye on Guest Experience Scores, Upsell Incentives and other KPI's
• Has full knowledge of facilities in the hotel, awareness of our menus and is able to communicate this to guests and train the Team Members to these standards
