Salary Range: $130,000–$190,000 Annually

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of enterprise SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions supporting global procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain initiatives. This role focuses on delivering scalable SAP S/4HANA MM solutions that streamline Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, vendor management, material planning, and inventory optimization across enterprise environments.
You will work closely with procurement teams, supply chain leaders, warehouse operations, finance stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to design and configure SAP MM solutions that improve procurement efficiency, inventory visibility, and operational performance. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in SAP MM configuration, cross-functional integration, and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects while maintaining a strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable SAP MM solutions supporting procurement and supply chain operations.
- Configure SAP Materials Management components including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Valuation, and Invoice Verification.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Configure organizational structures including plants, storage locations, purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, valuation areas, and company codes.
- Configure material types, material groups, account determination, release strategies, valuation classes, and movement types.
- Design and configure procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, scheduling agreements, RFQs, and source determination.
- Configure inventory management processes including goods receipts, goods issues, stock transfers, physical inventory, and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers to prepare Functional Specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, BADIs, User Exits, IDOCs, and forms.
- Integrate SAP MM with SD, PP, FI/CO, WM, EWM, QM, PM, and Ariba modules.
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration projects, system upgrades, testing, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
- Develop functional documentation including Business Process Documents (BPDs), Functional Specifications, Configuration Documents, and Test Scripts.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing application support.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Seven or more years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience supporting enterprise SAP implementations.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Materials Management configuration.
- Extensive knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Hands-on experience configuring Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Master, Vendor Master, and Procurement processes.
- Strong experience configuring material types, purchasing document types, release procedures, movement types, valuation classes, account determination, and pricing procedures.
- Experience configuring procurement processes including RFQs, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Vendor Evaluation.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, stock transfers, physical inventory, cycle counting, and inventory valuation.
- Experience integrating SAP MM with FI/CO, SD, PP, QM, WM, EWM, PM, and Ariba.
- Experience preparing Functional Specifications for ABAP developments including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
- Familiarity with IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, EDI, and middleware integration technologies.
- Experience supporting integrations with supplier portals, procurement platforms, warehouse management systems, and third-party logistics providers.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, SAP GUI, and SAP Fiori.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and business process optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum or SAP Activate implementation methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori Apps, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM), and SAP Business Network.
- Knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Transportation Management (TM).
- Experience supporting global procurement and supply chain organizations.
- Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, and Supply Chain Planning processes.
- Experience integrating SAP with Coupa, Jaggaer, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Boomi, or other enterprise applications.
- SAP Certified Application Associate or SAP Certified Professional certification in SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, or consumer goods industries.
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), procurement reporting, and operational analytics is a plus.

You will be joining a global SAP transformation program responsible for modernizing procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations across multiple business units. Current initiatives include:
