Job Overview:
As a Creative Manager, you will be part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Creative Services team, playing a key role in developing high-performing creative for lower-funnel and linear channel initiatives. You will help translate HBO Max brand and content priorities into conversion-focused assets that support acquisition across paid media, owned channels and linear TV touchpoints. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout Latin America to build clear, actionable narratives and executions that move audiences from consideration to subscription, tune-in, repeat usage, and long-term brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative development of lower-funnel campaigns for HBO Max titles, brand moments, subscription offers, partner initiatives, and linear channel priorities, with a focus on conversion, tune-in and retention.
- Translate marketing objectives, audience insights, offer mechanics, and performance learnings into clear creative briefs and executions for paid media and linear channel placements.
- Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, editors, media, programming, and external vendors/agencies to deliver channel-specific creative assets at scale.
- Coordinate and manage a team of editors, ensuring high-quality deliverables, fast turnaround, and alignment with campaign deadlines.
- Work closely with marketing, media, content, programming, and production teams to develop concepts and executions relevant to the region.
- Represent the HBO Max visual identity and ensure consistent brand application across performance creative and on-air/linear assets.
- Contribute to entertainment-focused campaigns by leveraging audience behavior, cultural trends, performance signals, and platform best practices to improve creative relevance and actionability.
- Manage the localization and versioning of assets, ensuring consistency across LATAM and Brazil while adapting creative for language, market nuance, offer details, media formats, and linear channel requirements.
- Maintain updated design systems, style guides, templates, and libraries that support efficient production of lower-funnel and linear channel assets.
- Stay current with performance creative trends, best practices, social and paid media formats, on-air/linear standards, and emerging visual storytelling techniques.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in brand design, marketing, performance creative, channel marketing, or visual communication, either agency-side or in-house.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience developing integrated campaigns across paid digital and linear channel environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing multi-channel creative with clear examples of lower-funnel, conversion-oriented, promotional, or tune-in executions.
- Ability to balance brand consistency with direct-response needs, including clear messaging hierarchy, offer communication, calls to action, testing variables, and platform-specific adaptations.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, or video versioning is a plus.
- A good eye for typography, layout design, visual storytelling, and conversion-focused creative; experience with entertainment, streaming, broadcast, or subscription businesses is valued.
- Comfortable working in collaborative environments, presenting ideas to stakeholders, and incorporating feedback from marketing, media, growth and programming teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including high-volume asset versioning, localization, and quick-turn performance or linear channel requests.
- Degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
