NA Principal Federal HCM Solution Engineer – GDI

This is primarily a post-sales position. It is designed for an experienced HCM consultant, solution architect, implementation leader, or customer success professional who can work directly with Federal customers, identify implementation risks, resolve complex issues, and coordinate Oracle resources to improve program outcomes.
The individual will also provide targeted presales support when needed and help create reusable demonstrations, solution assets, implementation guidance, and technical materials for Oracle’s broader Federal HCM business.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $89.90 per hour; from: $94,500 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.
- Serve as a forward-deployed Oracle Cloud HCM solution engineer supporting a large-scale Federal HR modernization program.
- Act as a trusted functional and technical advisor to Federal Civilian Agency stakeholders, implementation partners, and Oracle delivery teams.
- Provide broad HR and HCM process coverage across Core HR, workforce structures, benefits, payroll, time and labor, compensation, talent management, recruiting, reporting, security, data, and integrations.
- Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, design discussions, fit-gap reviews, testing activities, and implementation workstreams.
- Translate Federal HR requirements, policies, data standards, regulatory obligations, and modernization objectives into practical Oracle Cloud HCM recommendations.
- Provide hands-on assistance with solution configuration, prototypes, demonstrations, integrations, reporting, data conversion, and technical troubleshooting.
- Review solution designs and identify functional gaps, technical risks, integration dependencies, and implementation challenges.
- Partner with customers and implementation teams to resolve issues, improve design decisions, and maintain alignment between Federal HR requirements and Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities.
- Support testing, deployment readiness, cutover, stabilization, and post-production adoption.
- Coordinate high-priority customer escalations across Oracle Support, Product Management, Development, Consulting, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering.
- Maintain clear ownership and visibility of priority issues from identification through resolution.
- Provide customer and Oracle leadership with clear status updates, risk assessments, recommendations, and proposed paths to resolution.
- Build trusted relationships with Federal HR leaders, program executives, technical teams, implementation partners, and other customer stakeholders.
- Support targeted Federal HCM presales activities, including discovery, demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution validation.
- Develop reusable Federal HCM demonstrations, reference materials, implementation guidance, solution patterns, and customer-facing technical content.
- Capture implementation lessons and product feedback to improve Oracle’s Federal HR solutions and future customer outcomes.
- Support other Federal Civilian, Tribal, and select Canadian public-sector HCM engagements as business needs require.
