What is the opportunity?

Data & Digital is a team focused on delivering tech-enabled experiences for clients and operational teams to access and utilize their data. Strategic Solutions team is at the intersection of business needs and execution teams, focused on improving Data & Digital performance by aligning RBCIS strategic priorities with execution across the team. This Business Analyst bridges strategy, team operations, and delivery, ensuring cross-domain alignment and implementation efficiency for strategic solutions across the team.

As the voice behind Data & Digital most important messages, you’ll turn complex strategic and technology topics into trusted stories, manage relationships with enterprise, vendors, support client-facing communications and ensure alignment of execution to organizational goals. This role is critical as the team evolves—you'll be the connective tissue enabling efficient delivery, preventing silos, reducing duplication, and ensuring execution remains focused on measurable outcomes.

What will you do?

  • Defining Data & Digital Strategy: Help define where Data & Digital goes. Assist in developing and socializing the Data & Digital multi-year vision, update strategies, and support funding preparation; ensure alignment between with plans across RBCIS and enterprise priorities.

  • Engagement & Communication Support: Build powerful relationships. Support engagement plan with partners. Lead enterprise-wide outreach as the voice of Data & Digital. Translate complex strategic and technology topics into compelling narratives for executive audiences, partners, and clients. Build and maintain relationships, prepare executive-level content, branding materials, online content and communications strategy that positions Data & Digital as a trusted partner across the organization.

  • Optimise Operating Model & Conduct Research: Shape the stories for the highest level of the bank. Ensure C-level reporting on progress and OKRs/KPIs; coordinate budget planning and yearly planning cycles; maintain consolidated roadmaps with cross-team dependencies, monitor delivery against commitments and flag risks; conduct strategic research on partnerships and market trends. Ensure strategic alignment across all initiatives; anticipate and mitigate cross-team risks and dependencies; build scalable frameworks to support team growth.

  • Solutions & Demand Management: Turn insight into influence. Manage Data & Digital engagement with programs across enterprise (e.g. company-wide implementations); coordinate vendor relationships and engagement (e.g. engage with potential vendors); support strategic programs implementation and tactical solution transition.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, product management, technology delivery, or related roles in data or technology.

  • Experience in financial services with understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems.

  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills with proven ability to collaborate across domains.

  • Executive communication expertise ability to prepare business cases, dashboards, and executive-level content summarizing complex concepts.

  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights and conduct cost-benefit analyses.

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience level.

Nice-to-have:

  • Vendor due diligence exposure and experience managing strategic partnerships.

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge of technical principles and technology transformation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
