As FP&A Manager you will oversee the planning and analysis activities for the Electrical Sector across EMEA. This role coordinates and executes monthly financial reporting requirements including month-end closing, forecasting, analysis, and management reporting. Act as a key contact and spokesperson for the business in relation to financial results. Prepare financial analysis and month-end financial reporting deliverables as required. Key role in the development and analysis of the strategic plan and annual profit plan. Continuously seek opportunities for streamlining all finance processes and refinement of reporting activities. Participation to special projects as necessary.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate and execute monthly/quarterly closing & forecasting cycles.
  • Drive forecast accuracy across organization and ensure actuals are translated into financial insights.
  • Key role in the development and analysis of both the annual profit plan and the 5 year strategic plan (guidelines, consolidation, review and synthesis of key metrics).
  • Preparation of management financial presentations (operational reviews, leadership meetings, profit plan).
  • Support to ensures all processes are compliant with local and US GAAP regulations. Assist in the deployment and monitoring of Eaton Financial policies and control requirements.
  • Actively participate to SIOP process.
  • Manage models & inputs used for central planning (HR, SCM, OPS, Commercial, etc.).
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. Ensure that top-down guidance are followed by business and finance team. Consolidate the financial strategic targets and establish a process to track the execution.
  • Act as business partner for the EMEA LT and across the divisions. Identify gaps between current and targeted state and ensure remediation actions are deployed to resolve the gaps.
  • Act as a key contact and spokesperson to senior management and regional leadership team. Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insightful information and analysis to management.
  • Lead teams of financial analysts and work to build organizational capability through coaching and mentoring.
  • Provide assistance in special project work throughout the divisions as necessary.
  • Stays up to date on our products, markets, competition and trends. Understands our go to market approaches and customer base.
  • Attract , Develop, and Mentor Talent, owns own succession.
  • Understands and knows how to navigate through matrix enviroment, can manage through influencing.
  • Challenges status quo, relentlessly pursues opportunities to simplify and digitize tools, products and processes. Promotes and uses data to create insight and make better decision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field of studies, Master's degree is desired. Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CMA is an advantage.
  • Extensive (up to 10 years) of Financial Management experience.
  • Comfortable with US GAAP reporting guidelines and SOX framework.
  • Comfortable with SAP, Oracle (Cloud) and other finance IT systems including planning & data warehouse tools.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse, matrixed, virtual teams.
  • Adaptable to varying cultures.
  • Fluency in English, other EU language knowledge is welcomed.
  • Able to work and travel within the EMEA/EU region without any restrictions.
